Saviez-vous que la Maison Fossier était la biscuiterie la plus ancienne de France? Créée en 1756 à Reims en Champagne, elle a obtenu le label d'Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant comme récompense de son savoir-faire renommé et ancestral, reposant sur la maitrise de techniques traditionnelles spécifique a un territoire.
Elle doit sa renommée au célèbre Biscuit Rose de Reims, inventé en 1691. A cette époque, les boulangers créèrent une pâte spéciale afin d'utiliser la chaleur de leur four après le défournage du pain. Ainsi naquit le mot "BIS-CUIT", c'est-à-dire, cuit deux fois. A votre avis, pourquoi est-il rose?

Did you know that Fossier was the oldest biscuit factory in France? Founded in 1756 in Reims, Champagne, it got the Living Heritage Company label as a reward for its renowned ancestral know-how based on its mastery of traditional techniques, specific to a territory.
It owes its reputation to the famous Biscuit Rose of Reims, invented in 1691. At that time, bakers created a special dough so as to use the heat of their oven after cooking bread. That was the origin of the word "BIS-CUIT", i.e. cooked twice. In your opinion, why is it pink?

These pure butter biscuits, with original flavors of bygone days, orange blossom, almonds, lemon from Menton, candied apricots from Provence, are pure delicacies highly appreciated by our clientele. We now have a nice selection of savoury biscuits, served with our soups, and which go beautifully well with cheese and appetizers: olives/herbs of Provence, parmesan/cumin, tomato/basil.

Une exclusivité de notre artisan de Bretagne. Bientôt de nouveaux emballages pour les protéger des changements climatiques et leur permettre de garder leur fraîcheur sans aucun additif.
