It does not mean that the products cannot be consumed after especially when they are canned, preserved, pasteurized, vacuum-packed; even more so when they are artisanal products.
Just make sure to store them properly and not to leave them in the open air so that they will keep longer. As any other food, once opened, consume quickly.
